Cooking
When time allows, Rebecca likes to cook and bake.
Apparently she does OK in the kitchen as no one in the Sevening household
would qualify as "too skinny" and she's actually won a few awards:
a chili cook-off and our neighborhood's best cinnamon-themed dessert!
Rebecca attributes any success in the kitchen to what she learned from
her mom, shared recipes from friends and the world wide web! Check out

Wine Tasting
Rebecca enjoyed learning about (and tasting) wine
when she and Rod lived in Northern California. Although "wine country"
is not so accessible anymore, she still loves to try new wines and keeps
a log of her favorites in her iPod.

Travel
When time, kids and the pocketbook allow, Rod and Rebecca like to travel. Favorite places have been Sonoma/Napa Valley, Santa Monica, Chicago, New York, Whistler, Seattle as well as more local destinations such as Lake Okoboji and Minneapolis. The couple is planning a trip to Europe for their fifteenth wedding anniversary (in 2011), so if anyone has any recommendations please let us know!
Motorcycles
Rod loves to fantasize about owning a Harley Davidson Street Glide. So far Rebecca has been able to hold this purchase off (for now).
Football!
Fall is Rod's favorite time of year because it means football, football, football! And, it's also "casserole season!" What could make a man happier? His team since birth is the Dallas Cowboys and all-time favorite player is Herschel Walker.
